Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to feel happy and confident when shopping with Petite Playhouse. Please read our returns policy carefully before placing your order, especially for made-to-order wallpaper.

Busy Book Returns

We have a 14-day return policy for eligible busy book orders. This means you have 14 days after receiving your busy book to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your busy book must be unused, complete, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your order number, receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at orders@petiteplayhouse.com with your order number and reason for return. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning your item, as we are unable to refund items that are lost in the post on their way back to us.

Wallpaper Returns

All Petite Playhouse wallpaper is made to order and printed especially for your chosen design, size, material and order requirements. Because of this, wallpaper cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded for change of mind, incorrect measurements, colour preference, ordering the wrong size or material, or if you no longer need the item.

This includes full wallpaper panels, rolls and custom colour wallpaper orders.

We strongly recommend ordering wallpaper samples before purchasing full panels or rolls. Samples allow you to check the colour, finish and style in your own room lighting before placing a made-to-order wallpaper order.

Wallpaper Samples

Wallpaper samples are intended to help you check colour, finish and material before placing a full wallpaper order. Due to their low value and sample nature, wallpaper samples are final sale and cannot be returned unless they arrive faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at orders@petiteplayhouse.com.

Busy book orders can only be cancelled if they have not yet been dispatched.

Wallpaper orders can only be cancelled if production has not yet started. Once your wallpaper has gone into production, we are unable to cancel the order due to its made-to-order nature.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, please contact us immediately at orders@petiteplayhouse.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue, including photos of the packaging where relevant.

We will review the issue and do our best to make it right. Depending on the situation, this may include a replacement, repair, refund or another suitable solution.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If your busy book is eligible for return, you can return it first and place a new order for the item you would prefer. Wallpaper, wallpaper samples, custom orders and made-to-order items cannot be exchanged.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return eligible items within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

Please note that this right does not usually apply to goods that are made to order, custom-made or clearly personalised. As our wallpaper is printed especially for your chosen design, size, material and order requirements, it is not eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or return once production has started, unless it arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

For eligible busy book returns, the item must be unused, complete, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your order number, receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it can take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.
